The Professional team at HNR principally comprises RICHARD BROWN B.Sc. (HONS) MRICS FAAV and ADAM BARRASS B.Sc. (HONS) MRICS who continue to develop the business by providing farmers with an efficient, hands-on approach to Chartered Surveying.

RICHARD BROWN B.Sc. (HONS) MRICS FAAV

In addition to an Honours degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams, Richard is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveying and Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. He is a farmer’s son from North Northumberland and upon recently joining HNR brings with him over 5 years’ livestock auctioneering and professional experience.

ADAM BARRASS B.Sc. (HONS) MRICS

Adam also has an Honours degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams Agricultural College and is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveying and the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. He assists with the running of two family smallholdings in County Durham and has had experience from an early age in the ways of agricultural life. Adam has worked in the professional field, both in the North East and North West of England, since 2002 and has been with Hexham Auction Mart since 2004.
